Description
Corallina is an umbrian origin salami, well known in Rome, and since ancient times it is a product related to the Easter traditions: on that day infact the romans as tradition eat it with the typical cheese pizza, hard boiled eggs and red wine.
The Corallina Sorrentino is produced using lean pork meats (shoulders and bellies) and to the finely ground is added cubic larders of fat: the final taste is sweet and meaty. Cured for 30 days, our corallina is about 70 cm long with a weight of 800 grams or 400 grams (cd. Corallina Corta).
The great success of this product, initially tied only to the Easter traditions, has later been extended throughout the year, making it a “classic” of our catalog.
